Why IkkoPind exists
We left for a better life, and paid the price at home.
Almost every family in our pinds has someone abroad. We left for a better life and got one. But the price was paid at home: parents ageing without us, children who can understand Punjabi but will not speak it, and a village we only see for three weeks in December.
Most of us do not want to give up the income. We want to stop paying that price for it.
IkkoPind is being built for that: work you can do in blocks, a community that stays with you wherever you are, and a practical plan for spending more of the year at home.

IkkoPind shows what an employer states about itself and links you to the official register. We make no claim that any employer is legitimate, licensed, or safe.
Report and remove
Report anything that looks wrong. We act on complaints within seven days and you can delete your account whenever you want.

Check every employer on the official register, and never send money, identity documents or personal financial details to anyone, no matter who they say they are, or how urgent they say it is.
Who is behind this
I am building IkkoPind because I have lived the trade every pardesi family knows: a better income on one side of the world, and the people you love ageing on the other. I do not believe we should have to pick one.
IkkoPind is early, and I would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. The platform is built. The jobs and the community are being filled now, by the first members who join. If you have made this life work, or tried and come home, your experience is exactly what the next family needs.
