One global home for people living between countries.
Privacy Policy

Your data, plainly explained.

Last updated 23 July 2026 · Launch draft — under legal review

What we collect

Account details: name, email, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash), your current country and, if you choose, your home place.

Things you add: candidate profile, homecoming plan, job applications, posts, questions, answers, saved searches, reports.

Automatic: basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

What we use it for

To run IkkoPind: matching you with jobs, showing your plan, publishing community content you submit (after review), notifying you about applications and moderation decisions, and sending the weekly digest if you have it switched on.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who can see what

Private by default: your candidate profile is visible only to you unless you set it to “verified employers only”. Your homecoming plan, saved jobs and saved searches are always private.

Public when you publish: posts, questions and answers appear with your display name after moderation.

Employers see the applications you send them (your name and cover note).

What we never ask for

Do not upload passport numbers, visa documents, bank details or other identity papers to your profile or posts — moderators remove them. IkkoPind never asks for payment from job seekers.

Storage, retention and your rights

Your data is stored on our production server and encrypted in transit. We keep it while your account is active.

You can delete your candidate profile — or your entire account — yourself at any time from your account page. Deletion removes your personal data immediately; published community posts remain attributed to “Deleted member” unless you ask a moderator to remove them. For access or correction requests, email privacy@ikkopind.com — we respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (e.g. Australia, Canada, UK, EU), you may have additional statutory rights, which we honour.

Cookies

One essential cookie keeps you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Contact

Privacy questions: privacy@ikkopind.com. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also contact the privacy regulator in your country (e.g. the OAIC in Australia, the ICO in the UK).

This policy is written in plain language on purpose. It is a launch version and will be reviewed by qualified counsel before payment features or additional data-collecting modules are enabled.
