Which month do you fly home, and what made you settle on that one?

Everybody ends up with a month. Some people pick it around fares, some around the harvest, some around a wedding season they cannot miss, some around the weather and what it does to a parent who is not well.

What we are curious about is how you arrived at yours, and whether it has changed.
