  • Provider's registered legal name
  • Agent/adviser's registered name
  • SEBI, AMFI or IRDAI registration, as applicable
  • Country and regulatory jurisdiction
  • Date the author last confirmed their own registration
  • Product provider
  • Who is eligible: resident Indian, NRI, OCI or selected countries
  • Fees, commissions and material costs
  • Risk level
  • Lock-in and withdrawal conditions
  • "Returns are not guaranteed", where applicable
  • Official product documents
  • A complaint / report option
  • An automatic review and expiry date

Warning signs of a scam: guaranteed returns, pressure to act fast, requests to move to WhatsApp, and any request for money, crypto or gift cards. Deal only with registered advisers, and report anything suspicious.
